Coming together with coffee for a good cause
We recently came together to support Macmillan Cancer Support, taking part in a special coffee morning to raise awareness and show our support for people living with cancer and their loved ones.
The event was filled with plenty of smiles and enjoyable moments, and it also gave us an opportunity to recognise the vital work carried out by Macmillan throughout the year.
There were delicious cakes to share, cups of tea and coffee, and wonderful music from Suzie Law, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the morning, while supporting something so important to so many.
For our residents, being involved in community events is a great way to remain connected with causes that matter. It also gives everyone the chance to spend meaningful time together and take part in activities that encourage conversation and connection.
We would like to thank everyone who supported our coffee morning, whether by donating, bringing along cakes, joining us for the event or simply helping to spread the word. A special thank you also goes to Suzie Law for providing the music and helping to make the morning such an enjoyable occasion.
By coming together as a community, we can help raise awareness of the support available to people affected by cancer and contribute towards the important work Macmillan continues to do.
And finally...
While you are visiting us, don't forget to cast your vote in our Staff Awards. Our nomination boxes are available in reception, giving residents, relatives and visitors the opportunity to recognise a member of our team who they feel deserves a special mention.
